Where is Ammoudia located?
The "unknown" village of Ammoudia belongs to the Prefecture of Preveza and it is located at the Ionian Sea in West Greece at the estuaries of Acheron River. Environmentally the village has a huge worth because of the rare kinds of biota that exist at the edges of Acheron river and greater. The area is a "Natura 2000"-protected area.

If you choose to arrive in Ammoudia by airplane, it's best for you to select between Aktio's and Corfu's airport. These cover both flights from Greek as from foreign Airports. Actio is located in Preveza, about 50km away from Ammoudia. If you choose Corfu's airport, you will have to take the ferry boat to Igoumenitsa, approximately 1.5 hours. From there, it is about 55km to Ammoudia.
